2018 Concerts in the Plaza Schedule

@Plaza, St. Augustine

Concerts in the Plaza, St. Augustine’s summer-long music series, returns for its 28th season serving up some of the best musical entertainment in northeast Florida. The series includes 14 weeks of two-hour concerts held every Thursday from The Gazebo in the Plaza de la Constitución starting at 7:00pm, from May 31 through August 30. Park downtown, and come on down rain or shine – the only way you know if it’s canceled, is to be at the Plaza (or wait for the post on social media)!


June 14 — The Mike Hart Band (Blues, rock, R&B, and jazz)
June 21 — Rob Ellis Peck & Friends (Classic bluesy rock)
June 28 — Big Pineapple (Hawaiian jazz)
July 5 — Doug Carn & The Lincolnville Brass Band (American traditional brass band)

Free shuttle begins running at 5:45 PM. Park at City Hall or Ron Parker Park and the shuttle bus will take you to and from the show. The easiest way to see our free concerts is courtesy of Friends of Scenic A1A, Bill McClure for Mayor and The Civic Association.

Vettes in the WGV
 

@Murray Bros. CaddyShack
North FL Corvette Association and Murray Bros. CaddyShack will present the 19th Annual Vettes at the Village Corvette Show. Featuring more than 100 new, classic, and custom Corvettes on display along the Walk of Champions. There will be an award ceremony featuring Best of Show and People’s Choice Awards. The proceeds will be donated to Wolfson Children’s Hospital. This year’s event will include additional vendors and a silent auction.



Sunday, June 17th

Father’s Day at the Hall of Fame – Free for Dads & Immediate Families
 

@World Golf Hall of Fame

Celebrate Father’s Day at the World Golf Hall of Fame & Museum with complimentary admission for all dads and their immediate families! Take a swing on the Challenge Hole – a replica of TPC Sawgrass’ famous 17th island green – for just $5. Guests can also play the 18-hole natural grass putting green for just $5 per player. The Hall of Fame Museum will be open from noon – 6 p.m.

Meeting Description: The landowner of the above referenced project invites interested members within the defined community in the NW Development Area (bounded by Duval County, I-95, SR 16/CR 16A and the St Johns River) and other interested property owners to a public workshop regarding applications to amen the Comprehensive Plan and rezone property as follows: Amen the Palm Lakes PUD to add 45,000 sf of commercial to an already approved commercial parcel and to amen the Comprehensive Plan Land Use designation on 9.9 acres from Res B to Community acre. Ripley’s – Free Movie Night

This Wednesday they will be showing Beauty and the Beast (2017 live version). The Red Train will pick you up at the parking garage train stop or at Ripley’s and drop you at the north end of St George before and after the film. The movie train starts running at 7:30pm. There is seating available on a first come first serve basis. No coolers please.

Night Market


@St. Augustine Ampitheatre
The Night Market at St Augustine Amphitheatre is being held the 4th Tuesday of every month 6pm to 9pm Free admission and parking and is open to the Public.

Meeting the demand for locally-made goods and gifts will be the Night Market, taking place the fourth Tuesday of each month. From 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on the same Amphitheatre grounds as the Saturday Farmers Market, the Night Market will host up to 90 vendors specializing in handmade crafts and goods. The Night Market will also feature live entertainment and activities. The Night Market will be free to enter and open to all ages
