If you are a golfer, then this is an attraction you can’t miss! The World Golf Hall of Fame features a full-length museum (approx. 2.5 hours), the largest IMAX Theater in North Florida, an 18-hole putting course, and great shopping!

Conveniently located in the heart of the World Golf Village, the Hall of Fame is a local favorite for residents and visitors alike. This is a must visit attraction near World Golf Village.

The St. Augustine Alligator Farm

Are you adventurous? Come face-to-face with Florida’s nastiest predator, the alligator, at the St. Augustine Alligator Farm.

This wildlife park is packed full of different themed areas. Will you explore Alligator Lagoon or the Lemurs of Madagascar? If you are tired of walking around, you can always saddle up and zip line over alligators on their one-of-a-kind zipline course.

Before you leave, you have to visit the legendary Gomek exhibit. Gomek is one of the largest alligators ever recorded, and you can see a life-like representation of the huge gator inside the exhibit.

Fiesta Falls Putt Putt Course

This award-winning 18-hole putt putt course is located 10 minutes from The World Golf Village and is a fun time for the entire family. The course features landscaped holes, 8 waterfalls, a 65. Ft Spanish ship, caves, and a beautiful view of the ocean from their mountaintop gazebo.

The course also offers night-time courses that offer an extra degree of difficulty. If you are looking for a fun activity, then you won't be disappointed taking the time to check out Fiesta Falls.

St. Augustine Wild Reserve

This attraction is a hidden gem in the World Golf Village community. It’s run by a non-profit organization that rescues unwanted exotic animals. Tours are only available on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 2 P.M.

Unlike normal zoos, these 2-hour tours are guided by an expert who explains what animal you are observing, their basic biology, and how they came to be a part of the sanctuary.

You can expect to see amazing animals like white tigers, orange tigers, a golden tabby tiger, American black bears, ligers, and much more!

On top of it all, you get to watch tigers take a bubble bath. What more could you want?

Escape U (Escape Room)

Escape U is a local escape room located within a 10-minute drive of The World Golf Village. An escape room is a puzzle challenge where you and your group are locked in a room and must follow clues and solve puzzles to eventually “escape”. You have 60 minutes to escape the room or you fail the puzzle.

Escape U has two different escape rooms, the “Castillo de Matanzas’ and “Save the Fleet”, which are both inspired by the city of St. Augustine. You can expect a hard challenge with escape rates of 14% and 23% respectively.

This is a great adventure for solo players or families with children over the age of 10.

Action Kayak Adventures

Sea Serpent Tours

The Guana Reserve

The Guana Tolomato Matanzas Estuarine Research Reserve (say that 5 times fast) is a local preserve that seeks to protect and shelter the amazing wildlife on the First Coast. This is an open park that includes hiking trails, biking, swimming, picnic areas, and Fishing! If you go across the street you even have access to the reserve’s beach front area.

The GTMERR see over 200,000 visitors each year and the natural scenery is so beautiful they hold several weddings each year. You can hike the winding trails and freely observe the wonderful, protected wildlife.

Make sure you bring a camera because you will want to capture the memories. At the end of the preserve is a famous local hotspot called “shell bluff”. This small slice of the beach is perfect for a quick lunch and rest before you start the hike back.

St. Augustine Aquarium

You can experience a snorkel adventure inside an 80,000-gallon tank and features an interactive Shark and Stingray Cove, Seahorses, and a “Hands-on Habitat”.
